The new timeline, published today, August 6, 2025, restores key deadlines and sets the stage for the resumption of the undergraduate medical admission process under the All India Quota (AIQ) and other national institutions. The registrations for round 1 have been extended till 3 PM of August 6, 2025. The announcement comes two days after MCC froze all choice-related activity without citing a reason, creating widespread disruption among medical aspirants across the country. Candidates and institutions had raised concerns over the lack of transparency and demanded an immediate resolution.
